Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Previous maritime security guard experience
Firearms training certificate (not older than 12 months)
Valid passport and seaman passport
Military or law enforcement background
Clean criminal record
Valid Seafarer's medical, psychological evaluation, Drug&Alcohol test
STCW Basic Safety Training
STCW Security Training for Seafarers with Designated Security Duties Course or STCW Ship Security Officer certificate
